Who Am I?
My name is Jennifer Locke.
By day, I help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of turning their ideas into books. By night, I’m an author of middle grade and young adult novels. (I’m also a mom to twin preschools girls, a gig that keeps me busy round the clock).
Books are both my work and my passion. I’m in the business of creating something out of nothing: of crafting ideas and imaginings into narratives that have the power to affect people I’ll never see.

Manuscript Ghostwriting
Are you ready to have a book manuscript in six months? I will take your ideas, life experiences, and methods and transform them into a full-length book, which you may then use to enhance your business. I only take on one six-month client at a time. My pledge to you is that I will care for your story as if it were my own.
The Details
This high-touch package is perfect for the busy business or life coach who’s had ‘write a book’ on her to-do list for forever. I will take the steering wheel and guide you to your perfect manuscript. Here’s how it works:
- You Bring: Your Ideas, stories, and vision for your book
- Then…
- I will conduct an interview or series of interviews over our first month working together. These will be recorded so I can get a unique feel for YOUR voice (I’ll give you the recordings, too). On our calls, I listen to your stories and vision; together, we will brainstorm the perfect direction for your book.
- By a date we both agree on (preferably no later than the end of month two), I will deliver to you an outline for the book.
- Once we’ve agreed on the outline, I will send you the initial chapters for your “okay.”
Months two–six: I write your book! This can be as collaborative a process as you like (it will, of course, be in your name). I’ll send chapters as I go, with up to two revisions for each chapter. At the end of month six, I will deliver to you a Word document with your book manuscript.
Pricing
Costs vary for each project. A 50,000 word book starts at $30,000.
